Trendy fall wardrobe for a photoshoot 2022
Fall is the perfect Season to book a photo shoot. The best part is that you get to dress up with the most stylish fall fashion. For the most part fall is a easy season to dress for. Mostly everyone else the staple flannel shirts boots and fall colors. As the years go by chance change so for this year I put together a few of my favorite fall trends to help you look stylish and feel comfortable for your photo shoot.
Tip 1 layers
This has to be one of my absolute favorite trends specially during the fall time. Layers is the easiest way you can dress up or dress down an outfit. So whether you want to go for a casual look or a more dressed up look adding layers can help you achieve this. For example a current popular layer trend is a shackets or blazers they both can really elevate your look and are super trendy. Let me explain what a shack it is in case you haven’t heard of it before. A shock it is basically a shirt and a jacket put together so you can use it similar to a cardigan on top of a shirt or any top of choice. The reason it has the name is that it’s not as thick as a jacket and and not as thin as a shirt it’s meant to add a layer and it’s more of an accessory. I can tell you right now I have about eight shackets in my closet. I was always that girl that stole her husband‘s dress and shirts and wore them as an outfit so you can say I’m obsessed with this trend. Since they’re not so heavy and more lightweight they’re perfect for year round styling. so I definitely recommend investing in at least one shacket for your wardrobe. They also make for a great transition piece from summer to fall and fall to winter. As for blazers you can Dustin them off and wearing them with just about anything they are also a huge trend right now specially oversized blazers. What’s cool about them is that you can wear them with dresses, shorts skirts ,and your favorite pair of jeans they’re super functional and bring a touch of elegance to your outfit. For fall definitely do a pattern blazer similar to a flannel or just select a blazer that fits your color scheme. My personal favorite is the pair a blazer with a pair of jeans. Some nude sneakers and boom I have a stylish outfit. Also not to forget and mention that a super practical thing about layers is that you could always take a layer off if it gets too hot during the day and like here in California it gets a little chilly during the evenings so you can always add the layer back even or even tied it around your waist that’s a super cute look to.
Tip 2 denim
I think we can all agree that denim never goes out of style. But in recent years specially this year it has made an even more huge come back. For example skinny jeans use to be the go to for mostly everyone I know. This year I see a huge shift from skinny jeans to straight and boot cut jeans. Let me tell you as a mom I’m loving this new trend I mean I will never get rid of my skinny jeans but sometimes the Mom bar wants to take it vantage of a straight leg and a book a gene they can be super flattering. On the topic of jeans highwaisted jeans are super in style and are my favorite because they hide the mommy tummy and who doesn’t love that. Another denim that I think is perfect for the fall time is a nice denim jacket. whether it be black or blue I feel like it screams Punkin patch and leaves changing colors fall time jacket. A cool tip is to wear your denim jacket on top of your flannel whether it be buttoned up all the way or open it’s super stylish and goes back to our first tip about layers.
Tip 3 shoes
I think for most people shoes are the last thing they decide on when completing a look. So recently I’ve been seeing a huge amount of boots all and every kind of boot trending. I see people wearing boots in the summer that’s how in style they are right now. Particularly I see a lot of cowboy or cowgirl boots. Which I think are super cute because they are perfect to wear with just about anything. from dresses skirts jeans ,shorts you name it it’ll look great. You also have the traditional long knee-high boots that also looks so good specially with shorter to mid length dresses or shorts. If you don’t have some already get yourself a pair of boots. I always wanted to get myself a pair of cowgirl boots but I never actually found them practical to wear besides going to the ranch or a cowgirl themed event. So the fact that they’re actually in style right now I couldn’t be more excited to buy myself a pair and wear them every chance I get. Other shoe options besides boots are neutral colored sneakers these look great with different variety of outfits as well. You can honestly wear a good pair of neutral sneakers with a dressed up luck or a casual look so this is a great option if you’re not in the mood for boots.
Tip 4 accessory overload
I’m not going to lie I’m a sucker for accessories. Once I’m done deciding on an outfit I immediately think what accessories will agree with it. I think for the fall season the first Accessory that comes to mind is hats. Not specifically baseball hats or caps but think BoHo hats. Similar to the boots I mostly never wear hats even though I actually want to wear them I feel like I don’t have the right occasion to wear them. So a fall flu shoot makes the perfect occasion to bring out those hats. My role is have fun and don’t overthink it there is such thing as too much accessories so keep that in mind. I RAW I like to go by ask Photography Reyes as long as I’m able to see your face clearly and not get distracted by the accessories you’re wearing it shouldn’t be a problem.
I had so much fun creating these tips and sharing them with all of you and I really do hope that I’m able to guide you into finding and putting together some super stylish trendy fall outfits for your next fall photo shoot. Remember to have fun and most importantly if you don’t have any of the things I listed above just stick to your favorite fall colors and try not to match if you’re a family think more color coordinating. The best way to tell your fall photo shoot story is still just simply stick to earthy fall color tones that’s the most important tip of all.
